Blink 3D Standalone Player
To install the Blink 3D Standalone Player, first make sure that you have met the System Requirements specified below. Then click on the Download Blink 3D Standalone Player button and save the downloaded file to a temporary directory. Once the download is complete simply click on the Run button on the Download Complete dialog box to start the install. Follow the directions and then once the install is complete, launch the Stand Alone Player and open a Blink 3D environment (.env).
PLEASE NOTE: If you are using Windows XP Home Edition we have discovered an incompatibility that prevents Blink 3D from installing correctly. Windows XP Home Edition systems are missing a Microsoft system DLL called EFSADU.DLL. We are working on a solution and expect to have it available within the week. If you are running on Windows XP Home Edition, you can contact support@pelicancrossing.com for more information about other solutions to the problem.
System Requirements
To successfully install and run the Blink 3D Standalone Player, the person performing the installation must have Administrator rights to the computer. The target computer must also meet the following requirements.
- Intel Pentium 4 1.2Ghz or higher, Pentium 4 3Ghz recommended
- At least 256MB RAM, 1GB recommended
- Windows XP 32Bit (Service Pack 2 or higher)
- Graphics Card that supports DirectX 9.0 and OpenGL
- 1024 x 768, 32-bit display
- Microsoft .NET 2.0
- Ageia PhysX™ Accelerator card (optional)
