Crystal Palace

A most wonderful detailed and interactive recreation of the Amsterdam Crystal Palace which was destroyed by fire in 1929, this is virtual heritage at its best. Created by Ernst Dommershuijzen of Mainstream Netservice and the Paleis voor Volksvlijt. The design goal was to not only accurately recreate the historical building but also to make it interactive, allowing it to be used for art exhibitions and as meeting place.
